Fred Dinsmore began playing cue sports in 1990 and quickly made his name as a successful Snooker Player. That same year Fred became the youngest person ever to represent Ireland.  In 1993, he won the World Games Snooker Championship, the youngest winner of a world ranking snooker tournament.

Fred later changed to 9 Ball Pool, winning the World Championships in 2000 and is believed to be the only player to have won world titles in both Snooker (World Games) and 9 Ball Pool. He continued his success becoming European Champion in 2004 and followed that up winning the World Championship again in 2005. Fred has played exhibition matches with Jimmy White and Ronnie O'Sullivan, and also plays 8 Ball Pool at the highest level.
